Intensive programs offered during a session depend on placement test results, student interest in the programs, and the number of students enrolled. Your program preference cannot be guaranteed.


  • English for Academic Purposes – Intermediate to Advanced

    The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is designed for ESL students with intermediate to advanced English proficiency who plan to enter an undergraduate or graduate degree program in an American college or university. Instructors at all levels teach the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), as well as grammar, vocabulary, and study skills, with the emphasis varying by level.

  • English for Communication and Culture – Intermediate to Advanced

    The English for Communication and Culture (CC) program is designed for individuals with intermediate to advanced proficiency who want to improve their English for general or professional purposes. Instructors at all levels emphasize speaking and listening but also practice reading and writing for use in social and professional settings. Courses include grammar and vocabulary.
