TIEP provides assistance to students who want to enter a U.S. college or university when they have completed their English studies. If you are not quite ready to begin your university studies, let us help you create a pathway to university admission and success. Counselors are available to answer questions and give guidance on the university selections and admission process.
Information on university selection and admission is also provided by:
- Admissions Workshops
Offered each semester to discuss resources available for identifying appropriate schools, test requirements, deadline dates, applications, and procedures.
- TIEC University Fairs
Offered during fall and spring semesters. Representatives from Texas universities and colleges are available to meet with students at TIEP to answer questions about their programs and admission requirements.
- TIEC Guide to Texas Universities
A unique 69-page publication containing information helpful in choosing a university.
We can also help you get ahead in your university education by earning transferable college credit to any Texas public university while you are improving your English skills. With TIEP’s University Fast Start Program, you can study an academic subject with other English-language learners and meet Texas public university graduation requirements prior to enrollment.
