Everyone who travels to the U.S. for studying English has many wishes such as choosing a nice city, studying in the best school, learning more about American culture, having a pleasurable time with studying, making friends from around the world, and studying in a comfortable place where the teachers know about other culture – all at the same time. All these desires are found in TIEP. Being a Saudi woman, I needed a school which was acquainted with my culture and where I felt comfortable. That is what I found in TIEP. Moreover, TIEP helped me succeed and reach my goals, because it has University Express, the best program. I am grateful to all the people in TIEP for everything, and I am so delighted to have studied in this school. If I never studied in TIEP, I would have lost a lot.
I know now that my English is good, and I improved it a lot. I advise all other students who want to improve their English to come to TIEP because it is very exciting. It's very interesting because you find many nationalities and can add to your general culture.

The teachers and advisers here have a wealth of experience and were able to help me with every single problem I had... It was surely their kind of highly praised words that helped me get into many good universities.

TIEP has been a great place for me. Even though I only stayed here for a semester and a half, but what I learned, done, and experienced in TIEP was great.

Thank you for every single minute, thank you for every smile, every word, every lesson, every answer. Thank you for bringing me here, for giving me the opportunity to be better, to have more options, to be exceptional.

I was a TIEP student in the Fall '93 and Spring of '94. I barely spoke any English when I started the program. But by the time I left TIEP I was well prepared to attend college (Economics and MBA) and pursue my successful professional career.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Who knows the name of the person who said it? It’s Lao Tzu, a very famous Chinese philosopher. This proverb is very important to me not because I can trace it back to my own first steps, but because I can remember the great times we had while I was taking these steps.

...I’d like to seize this opportunity to say thank you for my classmates, teachers and schoolmates for even unwittingly showing me how possible and nice it is to live together with differences and, over all, how beautiful this world is. Thank you!

If university teaches you what is true in our world, TIEP teaches you how to live in the world. Studying so many different ideas from different countries in a classroom at TIEP is such a precious opportunity.
