I was a TIEP student in the Fall ’93 and Spring of ’94. I barely spoke any English when I started the program. But by the time I left TIEP I was well prepared to attend college (Economics and MBA) and pursue my successful professional career. I’m sometimes surprised my written English is better than some of my American friends. The teachers and the staff are very professional and caring. They truly go the extra mile to make sure you learn and understand. Located walking distance to the University of Texas and in the heart of the city, TIEP is the perfect place to be an ESL student. There are plenty of social activities and conversational clubs too.

I have very fond memories of my time there, especially as I made lifelong friendships at TIEP. Where else will you become friends with folks from Cyprus, Greece, Paraguay, Venezuela, Korea, Mexico, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Spain, France and many other countries? I highly recommend TIEP.
